Key West's VERY Rich History

Key West was and still is very rich with history and money. What you know as modern day Key West, the hot-spot tourist destination, people have known as The Conch Republic, a union military base in the Civil War, the personal hunting grounds of President FDR, Cigar Cenral, and many more. Here I will talk about Blackbeard's trip to the Keys with his pirate crew, how Key West got so incredibly poor and then built themselves back up again, why there are chickens roaming around aimlessly, (with no fear of humans) why when you go there you can turn the street and see yet another pub.
